If you could only keep one Stryper album which would it be?
If You Had To......... Stryper
Ok I thought this would be intresting to do with a variety of bands it really makes you think which is your absolute favorite
So if you could only keep one Stryper studio album which would it be
(you lose the others in a mysterious way )

I voted Second Coming simply because it's really an honorary "best of" that actually has my favorite (first era) songs on it. Take that choice away and it would be a tough call between To Hell With the Devil and No More Hell to Pay.

Harder than I thought as NMHTP gave me some pause...but SUC is still the king.

The Covering. Because its the only one I have. Plus, that cover of Highway Star is spectacular.

Re: If You Had To......... Stryper
For some strange reason, "In God We Trust" for me...I know, it seems to be the least favorite of most, but its all about nostalgia for me as it was one of the first remotely "metal" albums I owned (even though to call it metal is a stretch).
Re: If You Had To......... Stryper
Oh yes, the one by Metal Church is really good. Glad to be here!d@v!d wrote:Yes it is although my all time favorite is by Metal Church.Friendlypirahna wrote:The Covering. Because its the only one I have. Plus, that cover of Highway Star is spectacular.

Re: If You Had To......... Stryper
Murder By Pride. I would actually rather take Mike Sweet's solo album Truth tbh.

I went with Second Coming because it has all their best songs redone with excellent production. SUC and NMHTP would be close, though.

I'll go with the Yellow And Black Attack. Original version only, I don't like the remixed version.

Re: If You Had To......... Stryper
Oh man, this is a hard thing to answer.
Just as I was ready to put a vote on In God We Trust, I listened to More than a Man. Then when I was thinking of voting for To Hell with the Devil, I listened to Te Amo.
In God We Trust, To Hell with the Devil and No More Hell to Pay all have songs that would be a pain to not ever be able to hear them anymore.
EDIT:
Voted for No More Hell to Pay. It has the least amount of "happy" sounding songs. Most of the songs in this album seem to have this semi-melancholic edge to them, while the other two albums have many happy ballads and rockers. I like my rock 'n roll melancholic.
