Barren Cross State Of Control

Does anyone know why Barren Cross’ State Of Control isn’t on iTunes? That is the album that got me into Christian metal and I would love to own it digitally.

It's not on Spotify either.  No idea, but that is the decision of the band or record company, whoever owns the rights.

I bought it remastered on CD recently on Girder for about $12. It also had a good bonus track on it. Worth it!

I guess I’ll have to buy it the old fashioned way…

I wish more bands would utilize Bandcamp.

We need someone to build a new Bandcamp.  Their owner, while allowing Christian artists, is very anti Christ.  They also have claimed I updated terms of service that they own the rights to your music to use in AI song creation.

I just don't think AI song creation will ever yield good thrash songs so that particular aspect is not a threat to me.

The music industry is full of anti-Christs from top to bottom, so what else is new.

Even as someone working in software engineering, I really hope people eventually get tired of AI being everywhere. If not, then it probably won’t be long before we end up like the humans in WALL-E

While I buy CDs almost exclusively, I do think that whether on Bandcamp, iTunes, or whatever else, no music should be out of "print" ever again.  Not just Barren Cross, but anyone.

Another thing too, if someone is looking for a Christian company that sells downloads, Girder Music and ChristianBandShirts.com already do that.

Problem with Girder is a lot of theirs (which aren’t many) are tied to buying the CD or vinyl first and they areNt very cheap and sadly christiantshirts.com only has 1 that I can find and it’s over priced.

I thought the question was asked from the perspective of artists wanting a place to sell.  I think CBS lets you set your own price.  Maybe Vision of God records does as well?
