I bought it digitally from Amazon several years ago (I want to say right around when they released Birth Pangs).

From what I remember, the remaster is ok...nothing really spectacular...but REALLY REALLY loud. Annoyingly so, IMO

I have the remaster and the original. I honestly don't remember much difference. It's a great sounding album in the first place.

Yeah, there’s too much remastering going on and this album is a good example. The original sounds great.
