Christian bands that sound like Celtic Frost ...

Any recommendations anyone ?

Talking 'bout the classic era of Celtic Frost , meaning the first 2 E.P.s and "To Mega Therion" .

I've been a big fan of Celtic Frost since Morbid Tales, and I've never heard any comparable Christian bands.  That said, there is a one man crusty black metal/punk band called Black Leather that has some slight influence from time to time.  He's from Chile.  I think the guy does other projects too but haven't heard those.

There's another full-length called The New Liberty that isn't on their page anymore for some reason.

Maybe try Enshrouding - "Time to Kill the Beast" and Final Judgement - "Desolating Sacrilege".

The vocals are different than Celtic Frost but definitely influenced by them with the simple riffs and those oh's or ugh's Frost was known for

I second the recommendation of Black Leather.  I would also mention the band Anima Mortuum, from Chile.  
They have some Celtic Frost influence, mostly their earlier material like the "Morbid Temple" demo and "The Return."

Looks like that's the Black Leather guy on vocals for the early ones, and doing everything for the more recent releases.  Zvi Tacussis
