Rock/Metal Genres You Love That Most People On This Website Don't

The biggest two for me are Easycore and Indie Rock. I love Easycore bands Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, At The Wayside, and Light The Way. My favorite Indie bands are The Killers and Switchfoot.

Nu Metal is one of my fav genres behind thrash, symphonic, and death.

Not a genre, but there aren't many others here who enjoy bands that sing in different languages. Y'all are missing out!

It would be in my top if it was more consistent. Nu metal is either awesome or crap. Demon Hunter, P.O.D, SOAD, SK, FTF, K, awesome. LB, terrible

I like instrumental albums. I love acoustic guitar instrumentals(Dave Beegle, Phil Keaggy etc.) especially in the morning during my devotional time. I don’t think many people here like them much. But find them very relaxing and a good change of pace from Heavy Metal.

But I still like rock instrumental albums.

Sometimes it can. Depends on who's playing it. The intro to To Live Is To Die by Metallica (their best instrumental imo) is beautiful and amazing.

Probably Traditional/Epic Doom Metal which is not widely popular in the Metal underground in general anymore.

There also aren't that many Black Metal fans here although it is widely popular in general in the underground.

Other than metalcore which most people seem to dislike here, I don't know what people here don't like.

I love me some disco. I'm still waiting for a disco metal hybrid. Maybe some disco death metal. That would be sweet.
