8. Gazing at Medusa: The Peaceful Beauty of Brutal Justice
9. Crawl to China: White Knucklin’ the Rosary

G@M is an underrated album.

Yes. It’s a lot better than I would have suspected, given the band seemed to be in decline at the time it was released

Tomb of Gilgamesh would have been one of my favorites on the album, but the hardcore-ish shouting part kind of ruins it for me

Gazing At Medusa would have been higher if all the songs were similar in style as the title track.  That song was incredible.

First 3. Pathogenic my favorite by long shot. Vanishing is sub par rock and anything after it is, for the most part, out right embarrassing from jarring transitions throughout long winded and unnecessary progressive compositions to the corny whack vocals and melodies that try to capture former years.

The correct opinion!

For me, Guy’s vocals are one of the major highlights of StB. And the unusual, progressive song structures are one of the highlights of later albums like Microscopic. Agree that VL is subpar rock though
