I haven't posted my list yet, but Ready or Not is ruined by Guy's comically bad falsettos imo. I have no idea how the band decided that was the right idea! I would argue that most of StB is pretty weak vocally (Guy was MUCH better on Psycho Surgery imo) but this song is really something else. The instruments are solid though, especially the guitar solo.

As Kerrick noted a few months ago, I don't seem to really enjoy the ??doom?? genre (is that the right name for it?) of which Harlot Widow, Solo Christus, and Officium Defunctorum are. They're not poorly done, I just don't enjoy that style as much.

I also don't care for the second half of MVoaTR. Personal opinion. I find it too technical/robotic. However, that album--the whole thing--is my son's favourite of all the Tourniquet albums.

I disapprove in disbelief.

As has been noted above, picking the least favourite song on a Tourniquet album does not mean you dislike the song, as many of the albums do not have even one filler track.

I wouldn’t call Harlot Widow doom, though.

I'm not a fan of My Promise and Solo Christus, but I really enjoy Acid Head, K517, Twilight and Your Take. But given that the first half of the album doesn't have a single bad song, I could agree with your assertion that the B side goes downhill. 

My opinion would be that MVoaTR's B-side is the weakest. I LOVE Vanishing Lesson's mix, arrangements and genre. It's such a solid, cohesive hard rock/classic metal with progressive tendencies. Songs are the right length, solos are catchy. Ted's drumming fits the style perfectly. So yes, I'm a fan!

Yes, I don't understand the hate for it! I actually learned the whole thing on guitar when I was still in high school 'cuz I enjoyed it so much and it was easy enough for me to figure out!

While I don't mind the falsetto on this, I think it was much better fit for The Threshing Floor, which is really elevated by it
