Best Tourniquet album cover?
The main thing that got me hooked on Tourniquet (of course their music is great but the reason why I really started checking them out) was how creative their album covers and especially song titles are. So what's your favorite of their covers? Mine is probable MVOATR

Stop The Bleeding was incredible.
The Collected Works cover was also standout.
Actually I thought Gazing At Medusa was a really good cover too.
The rest were all solid, apart from Antiseptic Bloodbath and Crawl To China both of which I didn't like.

I always liked the cover to Pathogenic a lot.
Stop The Bleeding is great too.
Crawl To China's original cover art is horrible.

Psycho Surgery! It’s a no brainer (pun intended)
I consider it iconic. If you look closely, you can see many hidden images within the main image.
It’s like a cross between Journey’s Frontiers cover and Sepultura’s Beneath the Remains illustration.
Combine the two pictures above, and you get the Psycho Surgery illustration.

I think mine is probably Microscopic View too, it’s bizarre but interesting. TQT has some very creative song structures as well, like Besprinkled in Scarlet Horror for instance, Ted was a really creative guy

You could come to that conclusion… but I think my two examples (combined) are more accurate.
If you look at the small bat like creature on the Sepultura skull, you can also see a similar fruit-bat (or monkey) looking thing on the left side of the Psycho Surgery brain area. Plus the uncanny color and overall similarity to the Journey alien guy.

I think the skull cover is common enough to not suggest any direct rip-offs.

I don’t think Ted ripped off anything… those other covers just come to mind when I look at it. I’m sure the concept has been done and thought of many times by several different artists over the years.
I still like the Psycho Surgery cover the best regardless. Beside it being my first Tourniquet album I owned, the illustration is very intriguing and full of references to the songs. Plus the color scheme is great. It just looks cool to me on a black shirt!

Stop the bleeding (original version) for me, followed by Microscopic View.

The white cover actually fits the music better for that album.

I know a lot of y’all disagree but I feel the same about Vanishing Lessons. Bad cover, bad music (except My Promise is a decent song). In fact I think there’s a correlation between TQT’s cover quality and music quality for most of their albums

You don’t like Bearing Gruesome Cargo, Pecking Order, Vanishing Lessons, or Acid Head?seth wrote:I know a lot of y’all disagree but I feel the same about Vanishing Lessons. I also really like the cover to Collected Works, because it's so mysterious... where is this cage, why is this person behind it, why is he so scabby and inhuman looking, and why is he reaching for that bug?
Re: Best Tourniquet album cover?
I bet that’s supposed to be the Skeezix. Lyrics from Skeezix Dilemma pt 2:StevenCressler wrote:I also really like the cover to Collected Works, because it's so mysterious... where is this cage, why is this person behind it, why is he so scabby and inhuman looking, and why is he reaching for that bug?

Given over the deeds of infamy, Skeezix took his toll”
