First listen (weird I know). This EP is bizarre. Only two out of five tracks are metal; the others are symphonic interludes. And Rites of Death is also a song on The Forsaken.

I don't like it when bands reuse songs from past albums or EPs on new albums or EPs. Frosthardr did that too. It's okay if the song is changed or re-recorded.

^^I really like that album. It’s on my purchase list.

Narnia - Ghost Town (This is my AoTY so far)
Focused - At Eternity's Gate (for nostalgia)

Glad you enjoy It Won‘t Be Long, its a masterpiece that doesn‘t get enough credit imho.

I listened to it b/c of your post a few weeks ago, didn't I? I'd listened to some of the songs on the compilation "At The Top Of Their Lungs", but I'd never listened to the whole album. It's fantastic!!

Man, I missed all the dialogue about Tourniquet and Stryper albums lat week!! Crap--I actually have enough knowledge that I could have commented intelligently on them!

Raegoul, you've inspired me to listen to all the newer Stryper albums again. Up to this point, they all seemed to be great music to me, but very generic. Almost like car models year by year where it's basically the same thing but just a few updates. But you really describe them as being unique and distinct from each other, so I'm going to go back and listen to them again.

Adorned Graves - The Earth Hath Opened Her Mouth

Im on listen 3 with this and cant dcescribe it accuratly. So complex in the mix of genres and sounds. I'll be honest I was a little sad and excited to see so many guest vocalists. Somehow this works  without losing the "Adorned Graves sound" The album flows so well and gets better with every spin.

There is only thrash - all else is poser false metal!  

I know nothing about the band really  but the lyrics seem good. Kind of a DragonForce vibe.
