You should also check out Ten 33 if you haven't heard them before. Not a straight edge band, but Christian, and a similar style but with a bit of a darker sound I guess. Definitely my favorite old-school hardcore punk band.

I love xLooking Forwardx. If you havent check out Take It Back! they are in the same vain and really good.

Vindex - No Middle Ground

Most of their members joined Signum Regis. Not sure if Vindex was Christians in a band or a Christian band. Lyrics are esoteric but not bad.

Care to elaborate? If you are trying to say one of the SxE groups mentioned earlier has questionable lyrics/doctrines, I would be interested to know as I try to keep my playlist clean of such. Not being native English speaker sometimes I don't get all lyrics.

On topic: I now listened repeatedly to Whitecross - In The Kingdom, and it is a great record with some of the absolute best Whitecross tunes ever. I don't even mind the abysmal bars on Holy War as the overall track is good.

Unfortunately, the record is also rife with cheesy ballads. If you discount the guitar solo as bona fide track, you are left with 10 songs, 3 of which are pure ballads. Scratch two ballads and add one rocker, and you have a winner. Like this, it can't dethrone TR.

I'm saying that putting extra x's in one's band name looks idiotic and I don't care how established or commonplace it is.

Everyone knows that the best way to let everyone know what your band is all about is to add extra letters to your name.

Plus it makes it so much easier to pronounce.
