This is a fantastic concept album….it’s a long one at almost 2 hours long…I’ve listened to it in sections….but man it keeps my attention. It’s very well done!

Yeah listening to the whole thing in one sitting is not for the faint of heart but its on my bucket list to make sure I know where it sits in the AotY List

I’ve gotta try it, but prog is an odd genre for me. It’s like chocolate truffles—delicious in small doses, nauseating in large doses.

This time I am listening and comparing to what I saw live
Such a strong and bold band to behold

Les Carlsen - He's Coming
When this album came out shortly after Michael's passing I assumed it would be like the latest Bloodgood album. Les definitely puts his own signature on these songs. He is quite versatile from very heavy songs to some melodic rock songs. All are good sing along songs. Sad that Oz Fox was not at Immortal Fest for the song 'Judas is Dead'. Sad that David Zaffiro was not on stage for the songs 'River' and 'He's Coming'. Joyce and Les really rehearsed their on stage choreography.

Phil Keaggy's name was mentioned there. He lives not far from the venue, it would be so great for the metal heads to experience his greatness. I saw/met him around 1992.

Whitecross - Fear No Evil - EP
Whenever I listen to this I can't help but think of the voices of Les Carlsen at times and David Coverdale at other times. But the new Whitecross singer sounds like neither when on stage. He has his own sound but I do hear a tinge of Stephen Pearcy and Scott Wenzel.

The Brave - Gravedigger
This sounds great! Too bad they cancelled at Immortal Fest. They would have blended in nicely.

That’s very cool…I saw Keaggy play at Calvary Baptist Church in NYC probably around the same time as you in the early 90’s although it might have been as early as '89(I can’t remember lol). I just remember being Mesmerized at watching him play guitar live … I was right smack in front of him. He was a little guy but played and spoke larger than life.

Ice Cream Sundae was one of the last songs they did that July night. LOL, I can see the back of my fat head. That put on a very good show. As a casual fan, I didn't realize that was Paul Q Pek on guitar. I only knew him from his solo material.

Both Applehead albums and have started into the two Armageddon discs.
