Battle of the debuts: Deliverance vs Sacrament
Which do you prefer? The self-titled by the Big D or Sacrament's Testimony of Apocalypse?
I'm gonna go with the Big D here as I prefer the style overall, but to be honest I prefer the sophomore albums by both bands by a considerable margin.

Have to be Deliverance. have only heard Haunts of Violence. If it was was haunts, I'd choose that.

Deliverance
I like Sacrament plenty, but Deliverance wins round 1.

I gotta go with Sacrament. Such an underrated album! Mike Torone had a very cool and aggressive voice. His killer shrieks were the icing on the cake.
But I do also love the s/t Deliverance album (mostly for Jimmy’s rhythm playing). The drums were kind of sloppy compared to Weapons.

This is a tough one. I really like both but have to give the nod to Deliverance because the production and song-writing were just hitting on all cylinders on that debut. As far as Sacrament, I listened to it many times but over the years I preferred "Haunts Of Violence" because it was tighter and had better production.

I like Deliverance, but Sacrament was so much more aggressive, it's a clear winner for me on this one.
