It’s a mellow laid back sleeper. Don’t get me wrong, Neal writes nice songs and it’s a feel good solo album of his personal events and people in his life. BUT, it’s not progressive, nor does it rock. If you like his soft side then you’ll find this to be enjoyable.
Otherwise, hit the skip button and pass.

Phil Keaggy - Freehand (Acoustic Sketches II) - great peaceful--yet energetic--acoustic background instrumental music

Alan Jackson - Precious Memories II - another peaceful, quiet album that ministers God's grace so gently

Phil Keaggy - Town to Town - although it contains some of his biggest hits like Let Everything Else Go, I'm not very familiar with all the songs; I need to spin this one more regularly

Ringo Starr - Beaucoups of Blues (1970)

This was Ringo's second effort, post-Beatles

It's a mixture of folk, country, rockabilly and Honky Tonk. There is nothing to remind you of The Beatles. Even with Charlie Daniels on guitar, this was a fat dud

OK....I just realized there are two Ann Wilson's. I've never even heard of the one you're talking about!! face palm

I was referencing the up and coming Christian country singer, Anne Wilson. I guess the "e" makes a huge difference!

A band called The Midnight.. I'm really into this whole "Retrowave" or "Synthwave" whatever you call it genre.. Has a really nice nostalgic vibe to it.
