Amnis - discography

It's such a shame that there isn't more of this style in the Christian scene.  There's tons of Christian folk music, but everything that I've heard is much more upbeat and modern sounding, whereas Amnis is darker, more atmospheric, and mysterious sounding.  I just love it.

I'm not into worship music, I'm not into roots music. I'm not into WTK's other albums. But I love this one.

OK....I just realized there are two Ann Wilson's. I've never even heard of the one you're talking about!!

I was referencing the up and coming Christian country singer, Anne Wilson. I guess the "e" makes a huge difference!

Ann Wilson of Heart is probably the greatest female rock singer of all-time.  They were golden in the 70's, then the guitar player, Roger Fisher, who made some of the most iconic leads of the era split from the band and disappeared for well over a decade.  He resurfaced with Alias in the early 90's.

Leslie Phillips: The Turning

I am seriously deficient in my knowledge of secular non-metal. It seems the only artists I post are Phil Keaggy or Steve Bell. And here's another one:

Well, the early Leslie Phillips stuff is Christian. The Turning is a classic.

Now playing this. Pethead, I'm actually enjoying this. I don't know anything about her: what the style is called, what the year of release is, where she's from. But it's good mojo.

After The Turning she went into secular music under the name Sam Phillips. The Indescribable Wow and Martinis and Bikinis are good albums she released after The Turning.

Vince Guaraldi - You’re Not Elected, Charlie Brown (remastered vinyl)

In honor of Election Day and our right to vote…some good classic jazz to keep things light and fun today.
This album is very chill and not my usual thing but man….it is a good remaster…the bass pops on this.
