Saw an intersting video on the "home of tomorrow" made in 1967. A lot of it is just about right!

They make it sound so idyllic.

They got a lot of the future right, but they sure didn't have a clue about the clothing styles or how the machines might look.

I just want that 6-wheeled car!

You have to consider the times in which this video was shot.  Everything was back then.  

George Orwell did a pretty good prediction of this too in 1984. Outlining the telescreen spystate constant monitoring of us in our homes.
Low and behold AI fused *smart tvs/etc* and AI infused computers, tablets, and cell phones and other such tech being worn, etc.
*privacy and intimacy....as we know it will be a memory...among many to be passed down to those who never knew.

And stuff like the video you shared, was their way of predictive programming us into thinking it cool and neat and wanting it. Manufacturing consent.
