Due to the tension between Venezuelan and Colombian goverments for the recent incident involving Military airplanes from the venezuelan side and a commercial aircraft from the colombian side, AVIANCA has canceled ALL of their flight from and to Caracas.

As you may know our flight was supposed to be tomorrow from Caracas to Bogota and from there to Mexico City. I have talked with different Avianca customer reps and all the say is that until further notice all their flights are suspended. They said that we will be rebooked once the flights are reinstated. I asked if they can refund me so I can book a new flight with a different airline and they said they ccan do that but there's a fee of $150 USD for each ticket ($450 USD total) 

Now, we are hanging here and not knowing what to do. If take the refund we will need those $450 to purchase new tickets. PLEASE PRAY FOR US. This just happened in the worse time possible for us.

Avianca gave us a voucher for the full amount of our original tickets and we will be embarking by 11:00pm via Panama and then to Mexico City.

So has anyone heard from Karam since his big move? I'm going to guess that he and his family landed on their feet in Mexico City but haven't gotten established enough to get to they point where they have internet?

We are already in CD MX and we are still settling, it's been not an easy move, but it was surely the best thing we have done. And we did it with the help of you all guys. It's been difficult to get used to the food here, my advise if you ever come down here, don't trust mexicans when they say: It is not spicy at all LOL.

It seems my hotmail, facebook, CMR, CMH and other forums accounts of mine have been compromised and I have no longer access to those, I may need to start a new account on each site sadly. But not even using the I FORGOT MY PASSWORDS options seems to work, I don't know if it has to do with me selling my phone and laptop before departing. 

Anyways, I would much appreciate if you can update to everyone on our status. We are doing GREAT. My wife and I have started working on a shoe shops (it belongs to my friend Pablo) and he welcomed us since day one, our son is doing great too, while we are at work he stays at a sitters home and they are teaching him music, english and national things. Tomorrow we will start the process for work permit (we are working illegally now as we only have a tourist VISA for 180 days) but being that Pablo can give us a work contract wich is required to get a work permit it is easier to get through this process for which I ask you to pray for us.

On a funnier note yesterday Pablo took us to the pyramids of Teotihuacán, I will tell him to send me pictures so I can share them with you. Meanwhile attached you'll find a couple pics.

I can't thank YOU and the guys enough for what you did for us,

Please pass my email address to others. This will be my way of communication while we get some smartphone or PC/Laptop. Right now I have to come to a cyber coffee to write you and the family in Venezuela.

This is quite serious. I don't know what admin rights his account here has, but if someone has access, they can really mess things up here. Can one of the admins here reset his account password and let him know?

According to that email, he doesn't. You need to reset the pw and hold onto it until he either reestablishes control of his hotmail or creates a new account.
