CHAINED - Thrash/Power/Groove Metal From Sweden

I've been revisiting bands that were mildly interesting at first listen, but I knew I needed more time with them.  

One of these is Chained, a groove metal/thrash outfit from Sweden.  They have a nice thick, meaty guitar sound and a singer that sounds like Lemmy of Motorhead.

I have not seen them mentioned on this board (I did a search for them) so wanted to throw them out here for anyone who hadn't heard of them.

The better songs on their 2011 album are toward the end, with the exception of "Drained," which is in the middle.

I do not believe they are still together as a band. But this album is worth checking out if you like this sound and style.

I've heard them, singer kind of has an Udo thing going on.

Kind of - Lemmy meets Udo would not be a stretch.

Reminds me of more commercial Megadeth.

There are some GREAT riffs on here.

So riffy and the production is EXCELLENT.

I bought this CD from CD Baby many years ago.  Good stuff!

This is some of the VERY BEST Christian thrash ever.

Just rocketed to one of the top spots in my list.
