Some looking for an excuse to destroy their own neighborhood

Last night the rioters were allegedly moving from Spokane over to our little resort town of Coeur d'Alene.  TONS of AR-15-wielding good guys went downtown to make sure no rioting/looting happened.  Some folks peacefully protested with signs and I don't believe there was one single incident there.  I suspect the rioters just turned around and left upon seeing all the guns haha.  I love Idaho.

If they move out of downtown Nashville, I bet they are met with similar armed citizens out doing what they can to protect their area.  If the rioting went to a small town, I would guess that the rioters would meet up with superior firepower and would never be found by investigators if it went that far.

That happened in Snohomish county in Washington also. We've had reports of antifa planning to come to smaller towns, mine included, but that won't go well, there's more arms here then people.

Much of Tennessee is like that.  Just my household, we are at a 3 to 1 ratio on firearms.

The jump in attendance at my church from last week to today was rather high. Makes me glad to see things returning to normal.

I used to frequent r/Christianity for discussion and reading, related to of course, Christianity. Sadly, with the riots, this sub has been raided by pathological Trump haters and its now poisoned territory.

I fully respect if folks disagree with Trump policies. Even if they're Orange Man Bad deranged.... but to insinuate that anyone else who doesn't hate Trump, defaults to being a racist authoritarian fascist, crosses the line for me.

Ours was down. We had 20 last week (which is the maximum they allow) and this week there were only 7 and 4 of us were my family. But it is storming here due to Cristobal so I take that I to account.

On a semi-related note...I am done with the NFL.  Fortunately, the radical poison of said Felons' League has not yet spilled pell-mell into the MLB or NCAA.

Yeah, the NFL and NBA are dead to me.

It might be very unpopular and controversial to say, but I feel the same way about "racism".

Sure TRUE racism (still) exists, and its awful. ...but I've seen a number of times online, people using the color of their skin, just to get out of being an idiot or as a win-all to arguments. (ie: You tell them their wrong, their response isn't to convey that they're right, but that you're racist for thinking they're wrong)

I honestly think I consider "white privilege" to be a racial slur. What, just because my skin is a certain color means I have a cushy life and every want handed to me? Just the opposite in this day and age.

A white man kills a black man, it open societal floodgates that dominate all news feeds for weeks. A black person kills a white person, or a black person kills a black person (which BOTH those happen more often than white on black murder) and it would most likely not even make the news at all.

Yep, scary times. If you look up what the official BLM organization stand for it might give you chills.

Man if they only had some sort of authority to regulate fair rules and keep people from stealing from each other.  Good luck CHAZ!

Can we just give these people an area to go destroy themselves in and leave the rest of us alone?

Actually, since they have taken property that isn't theirs and are claiming to be a separate nation, I would consider this an act of war.  The President should have the Marines on the phone ordering them to give him at least three firing solutions to take these people out if they refuse to surrender.  The cops can't do it now without being slaughtered by the media.  Military action is about all we have left to deal with this unless a bunch of citizens with plenty of firepower decided to take this into their own hands.

I know--it seems extreme; but after these riots, violence is the only language these domestic terrorist groups like BLM and Antifa will recognize. 

Oh, the military could easily do this without shooting anyone, but it is a long game to play.  Cordon off the area and stop any food and water going into these buildings.  It won't take long for these people either to surrender or get desperate and start shooting first giving the military the right to go in to clean house.

I honestly feel like this is baiting Trump to use the military, so the military can be vilified like the police.

Them baiting Trump to use the military is the only sense I can make out of democrats spinning this as a "prolonged demonstration of protest".

I thought about that after I posted.  Trump really needs to go public and announce to the mayor of Seattle that this is all on him.  If the mayor won't do anything, then they get what they deserve.  

The mayor could call the governor, ask for military assistance, and then get the National Guard activated.  They wouldn't have to fire a single bullet unless these squatters opened fire first.

This is not about anyone here, but I cant understand why so many Christians are advocating or at least apathetic to violence towards others? I recently was in contact with an old friend from college who is now a pastor. He is not only advocating violence towards peaceful protestors (not rioters or looters or the violence in some cities), but he is actually excited about it. Listening to him was like listening to someone get excited for the next big marvel movie. Shouldn't we at least be hoping and praying for a peaceful resolution?

My wife just sent me a news article....our neighbor recently put up the "redneck rebel" flag and this has some very good points....
