Cool crowd funding perks....

There are a few discussions going on about crowd funding and like anything else, everyone has opinions on why the would or wouldn't support albums this way so I thought it would be fun to discuss some of the coolest perks you have seen bands/artists offer, either Christian or secular...

There was a band, can't remember their name, but they were a teenage country rock band and my brother knew someone that knew them so he supported the crowdfunding for it and one of the perks was if you paid a certain amount, maybe $100 or so, they would record a video of themselves doing a cover of any song that you picked. My brother had them do a Winger song and they did amazing. I would love to see more bands do that...

I don't want to see any band cover a Winger song.

That's pretty cool. 

Personally, I love crowdfunded music and wish more bands that I liked did it. There are some really cool perks out there.

I got a personalized message from Steve Taylor that I thought was pretty cool.


And on a side note, why all the hate towards Winger by the other posters...sheesh..lol...I actually think some of their songs are pretty amazing.
