Godsent Humans, Dragnet Records, MO?
Hey dudes,
Saw a mention of Godsent Humans on the 90s Christian Music Recovery Group on FB and went in search of some of their music after forgetting about them for 20 years. Better than I remembered! Great post-punk/crossover/hard rock. Anyway, the page that has a bunch of clips is here:
https://soundcloud.com/dragnetrecords
There's another band on there called MO that I've never heard of. I like them a lot. Lyrics seem Christian. They aren't in the Firestream Vault and I can't find any info on them (is it an abbreviation?) or Dragnet Records anywhere else. Does anybody know anything about them or that label?

That's my guess too. I have that album as well. They got overlooked for playing metal in 1995.

I wouldn't mind tracking down that Godsent Humans. I like it! It is more metal musically than One Bad Pig, but this reminds me of the famous Oinkers but with more serious lyrics.
Modus Operandi reminds me of Oil, Detritus, and Stricken. Good stuff! The voice is a bit gruffer than I usually like, but they are at least singing and hitting different notes. That's the difference with this type of vocals. Most harder typed vocals come off a very monotone to me. This definitely has different notes. I may try to find this as well.

That was the good thing about crossover hardcore/thrash/hard rock back in the late 80s and early 90s -- they were gruff but at least they "sang" intelligibly and each vocalist had their own unique voice. Vs. the hardcore/metalcore today where everyone sounds the same, i.e. either unintelligible or too pretty. (grumpy middle-aged man rant over)
