Hi, I'm Nocturnal Iridescence. If you're in the black/unblack metal community you probably know who I am by now, I run Unblack Archives, Annihilated Pentagram Productions, that YouTube channel called "ItsNickJx", etc.

I have no idea how often I'll be around here, but figured it was worth joining.

If I can say anything worthwhile about myself, it's that you should never let yourself be discouraged by negative feedback from the secular scene. There are those hearing the word of the Lord through your outreach -- I am one of them. Reborn in 2014. It is because of God speaking through His servants in this scene that I'm not dead.

Welcome! I've known you through the Blackest Light forum over the last several years. That community has slowed and I feel like I haven't had much to contribute there. Good to have you here! I definitely check here more often for new content. I would certainly appreciate your contributions!

Hello everyone, 

I'm the guy behind the projects Rotting Serpent, Exalted Saviour, Sanctification/Docile Servant, Horeb, Hated, Photosynthesis, Jesus People Of Doom (formerly Cult Of Divine Mercy), Euphemism, Methysticum, and a whole slew of others. I would've linked my Metal-Archives artist profile, but new members can't post links to external sites, so I cannot. 

Some of you I may have already met elsewhere, others I am looking forward to meeting. Recently, I've been trying the forum thing again after being away from it for a long time. The past couple of weeks I've been posting over at the Metal-Archives forums, but they certainly don't have any appreciation of Christianity, and exhibit a profoundly illogical lack of respect toward people who aren't ashamed of their Faith. 

For that reason, I sought to move on. Thought I might come here, since I doubt Christianity will be much of an issue..... although Catholicism might. 

Anyways, for what it's worth, I send salutations to you all, especially for the Christmas/New-Year season, and look forward to jumping in and meeting you all. 

Feel free to ask me anything, and please let me know if I do something to overstep any bounds.

Yes, I was on the Blackest Light forum some time ago, and just registered again in the past couple days (although I see it's pretty quiet over there). 

Oh, I'm definitely not "woke" enough for M-A, nor to the liking of most who pay attention to such things lol. Strange, I don't remember some of the more memorable mods being so Left-leaning over there from years past, but I suppose I also didn't get a run-down of their political views way back when either. Perhaps they just go with the trends. 

In any case, I trust that this will be a much less toxic place, and obviously a place where Christianity can be mentioned favourably.

I recently deleted all of my secular music as it had over taken me for years. I had been fortunate enough to meet a bunch of my secular music heroes and all but just don't need it in my life. I had been considering taking my favorite music from that and editing out vocals just to have the awesome riffs and music but gave up because I could still hear the vocals some.

I too recently stopped listening to non-christian metal. Incantation, Morbid Angel and Immolation have always been my favorite, but I just cat anymore. � Right there with you.

Thanks! Some of my favorites are Living Sacrifice, Extol, Crimson Moonlight, and Antestor. Older stuff like Believer, early Tourniquet, Sacrament, and early Mortification are high on the list too.
