Does music affect us at all spiritually?

Alot of crap on that site, but the I am intrigued by the line "Prayer would have an even stronger effect on the water."

In that case, I say yes. And we can either use music to express sin and rebellion or use it to glorify God and express His will. As its been stated all ready, this will have ramifications on all of us as we are spiritual creatures.

Yes, so long as we're specifying active listening. I don't subscribe to the more extreme views that have occasionally been advocated by various groups claiming that music heard even in passing "goes straight to the subconscious" and directly causes actions and behaviors that a person wouldn't have previously considered. In cases of something that you really enjoy and listen to intentionally though, what the mind dwells on is bound to affect the spirit in some form.
