7. Hardwired... To Self-Destruct, very interesting and cool.
6. Ride The Lightning, pretty good but not the highest quality.
5. Death Magnetic, really cool, but some people criticized it for its similarity to... something.

4. 72 Seasons, very hq and represents the album well.

2. ...And Justice For All, very awesome and fits the album but... I won't say.

I’m surprised to see anyone who likes the 72 Seasons cover, it looks like an absolute eyesore to me and I would bet money it was AI generated. I honestly think most Metallica covers are pretty bad, except MoP, AJ4A, RtL, and ironically St. Anger. Load and Reload, especially the former, are by far the worst though. Why did anyone think that was actually a good idea? Even worse is those were created by a professional “artist.” I’d say even the banana taped to the wall is better qualified as art than that

I don't get why you don't like the cover to Seasons. I love all the little details and how it shows various aspects of, well, someones first 72 seasons. I agree about the Loads though, I don't want a "Load" on my album covers, if you catch my meaning

That's why I love it. I love how well it shows the album, burnt pieces of someone's first 18 years. Album covers are really important to me because that's what the songs feel like to me. When I'm listening to 72 Seasons I see and feel the yellow, when I'm listening to ...AJFA I see and feel the cracked white, does that make sense?

It totally makes sense. Eye of the Beholder especially feels like cracked white, and Lux AEterna especially feels like yellow. For some reason.

I guess it makes a bit more sense knowing what it’s supposed to mean, I had never thought of that, just saw it as a bunch of random burnt stuff. However, that neon yellow background still looks really bad imo on any metal album
