Christian vs secular best albums

(Note: these are not my opinions, these are what most people consider their best)

I'm going with Weapons. Master is close though, and if people considered Justice their best I would have chosen that.

Love them all.

Master of Puppets is the gold standard of 80’s thrash. 

It has the great songwriting, warm heavy tone, dark atmosphere and musicianship. 

A+

It has aged very well. It still sounds awesome almost 40 years later!

I'd extent that to thrash of any decade

There’s only one thrash album that beats MoP:

And Justice for All.

I love Weapons but it's ripping off Metallica too much to be considered best.

I'm planning on it. I'm mainly listening to Metallica right now, but I'll get there.

And I've reached HUB in under 3 three months... that might not be a good thing lol. I'm still happy about it though.

Stop the Bleeding

When I went to Africa for 9 months in 1997-98 I had to limit my packing severely. Only 12-15 CDs made the journey.

Stop the Bleeding is the only one from that list to make the trip.

State of Euphoria and Persistence of Time are boring albums to me, but Among the Living and Spreading the Disease are both classics.

We shouldn't forget Fistful of Metal either. I love that album. The singer sounds like a mixture of Eric Adams and Paul Stanley, but rougher. I think I like Neil Turbin more than Joey or John.

State is hit and miss, but Persistence is my favorite Anthrax album (just a hair over Spreading).

State of Euphoria is tremendous and is really the only Anthrax album I like.
