Which one?
Christian vs secular thrash, final round: Peak 3 albums
(Note: this is not my opinion of their three best, just the general consensus from what I can tell). Also note these albums must be in a row. For example, for Anthrax, Persistence is much higher regarded than Fistful, but Fistful seems more popular than Euphoria and had to be next to Disease and Living, since those obviously have to be in A's top 3.
Metallica easily for me. All three are top 10 albums, with MoP and AJFA being my top two overall.

This is so brutal because of TQT, but I have to give it to Metallica.

The best songs on those three TQT albums blow Metallica out of the water. They have that unique, quirky spin executed perfectly

They're more unique for sure, but not exactly better.seth wrote:The best songs on those three TQT albums blow Metallica out of the water. They have that unique, quirky spin executed perfectly

The only bands on that list I listen to anymore are Seventh Angel, Believer and Vengeance Rising. Can't pick b/c once again it's mood based on the day.

Like I’ve said…
Metallica was the gold standard in the 80’s!
And those three albums still hold up to this day. A testament (no pun intended) to their songwriting. Thanks in part to the contributions of Cliff Burton and Dave Mustaine (plus one great song from Jason Newsted!)
My other choices would be Tourniquet, Megadeth and Testament.

Deth followed by TQT. I'll take Testament over Metallica who are the pop kings of thrash.

Testaments best aren't in a row either.

Should take out this option and it would be a more interesting fight.TZ75 wrote:Like I’ve said…

Yeah, though TQT would probably win in that case.Superjuice wrote:Should take out this option and it would be a more interesting fightTZ75 wrote:Like I’ve said…
