Beginner's Guide To Speed Metal - Do You Agree With These Choices?

Louder magazine just published a Beginner's Guide To Speed Metal that consists of 5 albums.

I know that speed metal can be hard to define but they give a good quick definition in the article.

  Do you agree or disagree with their choices here?   Which albums would you add or subtract?

Good to see Agent Steel. I'd get rid of Enforcer and put early Running Wild on there.

Exactly my thoughts!   I would omit Enforcer immediately.   Early Running Wild or Abattoir would be the replacement.

I'm also somewhat indifferent re: Acid's Maniac.   It's a good album (musically) from a speed metal point of view, but it'd be a toss-up between that and Znowhite's first E.P..

I'm not that enthused by their choices in general, but it's a tough sub-genre to adequately represent so I'll give them some slack there.

One that I certainly agree 100% with is the Agent Steel.

Znowhite is a good one, I forget about them.
