Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance
Can one no longer get the original cover with this album? The new cover is, how do we say--repulsive.

Ebay or Amazon. Upgraded my old cassette to the original CD a few months back. Found a pristine disc on Amazon for $16.99. Well worth it for the genuine article.
Re: Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance
The original 2001 re-release had the bad album cover. The layout of the booklet was pretty bad too (hard to read text etc) and the title in the spine was written incorrectly as Pathogenic Ocular Dissonence (notice the e in 'Dissonence').
When that re-release got reprinted, those releases had the original cover instead of the new cover. The reprint has been sold out too. I don't know which version is more common, the original re-release or the reprint version.

The original album distributed through Metal Blade records is the best version! It includes their cover of Trouble’s The Tempter.

I agree with TZ75, that cover of The Tempter is so good.

Yes, their cover of Trouble's "The Tempter" is really good.
There's a live clip of them playing that on You Tube, I don't have the link right now.

Yeah, the Metal Blade version is great as it has The Tempter on it. I only have the original version with no The Tempter on it. I'm not sure which one was released first. Probably the one without it.
My friend's brother used to have that version.
I'm not in dire need to have that album as I have the Live EP that has it, but it would be nice to own that version too.
It's in this show:
The album versions had only Gary on vocals, but here it's Guy and he does great job!

Thanks for information everybody. I am way behind the times. Been a while since I have re-visited these classic albums. I wish to pick up a few classics I once had and this is one of them. Metal Blade sounds the go.

Re: Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance
It’s awesome to see a version of The Tempter with Guy Ritter singing. But I think Gary’s voice worked better on the song. Plus Bruce Franklin joining them! Wow

I also have the original Intense version. I won't re-buy (especially a long-out of print version) just for one song.
Yes, the original cover art is superior. At least on the reissue you get two live bonus tracks.

Thanks for this. Very cool. When I get some spare $$ I am going right here I think.
