It's only paranoia if they aren't out to get me!

I am grateful for these forums and you guys. Without it I would have no one to discuss Christian metal, old and new, and wouldn‘t discover new stuff, plus sometimes I do get edified or encouraged by your takes in general. 

I also think it’s great these old records still get played and are cherished by those who grew up with that sound.

I didn't realize Chris Stapleton is now pitching for the Cleveland pro baseball team.....

I know we cant discuss politics, but I think Rick Harrison from Pawn Stars should run for President. I have no idea of his political beliefs or what side of the fence he's on, I just know that whenever we have any problems that need solutions, we know that he's got a guy who knows about this.

I’m regretting not going to Immortal Fest over this Labor Day weekend…at least there are some YouTube videos of it to watch…

Every now and then I get an urge to buy a nice record player and set up a man-cave where I listen to the record collection that I haven't started buying yet...and then I realize that I'd be part of that 48% and it would be a waste of my time and money. I don't even like to buy CD's anymore. I back up onto a real hard drive--that's my physical media.

My wife has taken up the totally awesome and wonderful hobby of making sourdough bread from scratch.  Most recently, she was busy with the kids so it was up to me to score the bread...     Naturally, I had to make an "Eddie Breaddie" hehehehe.

Reformation day is an official holiday where I live. I've even read that it might become a federal holiday, but I don't really see that happen, especially with the southern half of Germany being traditionally roman catholic.

Thank you! I was going to stop posting any images because of that, and everyone would miss the beautiful art that I share.

Oh, well in that case I'll go ahead and re-enable it.  

I've been testing the waters of Dutch politics again, and I found something curious. Lots of the parties on the right are fairly predictable on the topic of governmental overreach, especially from the side of the European Union. But I have found out that they have an ally in the Socialist Party in this; they're really anti-digital currency and such. I'm not sure what to think of this because they're pretty leftist ideologically. Maybe it is because the blue collar workers are actually their voting base.

Globalists are per definition enemies of the state.

I am at loss over the current state of climate activism.  I'm recalling stories from my youth, Greenpeace folks chaining themselves to a large trees to prevent them from being cut down.  In lieu of elaborating how stupid or noble that was, it at least made some sense.

Climate activists today throwing soup at paintings, sitting in the road to block traffic, or gluing themselves to random surfaces, doesn't make any sense to me at all.  Wouldn't blocking traffic actually increase emissions since vehicles would have to idle for however long the road is blocked, before they drive to where they're going anyway?

When I first looked at this and watched this where two activists glued themselves to a concert's conductor stand during a performance, and didn't realize the stand was detachable before being escorted to and deposited into a back room....  I belly laughed at the stupidity.  

...then I cringed, so hard.  This approach seems like something an attention seeking 7 year old would come up with if they wanted people to hate climate activists.
