.....keep your eyes open.  If I were not leading the Christmas Eve service tonight, I would take up security duty just to insure my congregation's safety.

My church is in a very rural area.  I would not doubt that several people were packing heat whether they had their carry concealed permits or not.

Just one point of caution for all of you. If your church meets in a school, as many do, you cannot bring your gun to church as it's a federal crime to carry on school property, even if school is not in session. This can also include your church if you have weekday children's programs, even if not a full fledged school.
