How will you celebrate Christmas
Each person celebrates Christmas in their own way and may even celebrate it differently from one year to the next. So how will you celebrate Christmas this year?
Our family is on the verge of adopting a second child (due the 10th), so anything after the 10th is kind of fuzzy at this point. Christmas is definitely low key this year for us. Not planning on doing much shopping. We are just planning on spending time with family and with our new addition to the family.
How about you?

We gave up the hustle and bustle of trying to see everyone on Christmas about five years ago. We don't leave our house on Christmas day, spending it with our children.

I'll either be at work since we barely get holidays off and I think Christmas is a work day for us or I will be at home blasting some metal music in my room

We are observing advent. We made a wreath with candles and are having daily devotions with a daily activity. For yesterday's activity, we just put up the tree, lights and decorations.

Time with family and gift exchange (listed in order of importance). Simple.

My wife and I are just going to have a quite Christmas at home. Kids are grown so it's just going to be us.

At home with my wife and dog... very quiet..we do not consider Christmas a Christian holiday and do not celebrate it that way....

Re: How will you celebrate Christmas
We used to go to every family function... we had a total of seven one year (not on the same day) -
my dad's side
my mom's side
my wife's mom's side
my wife's dad's side
my parents and us
my wife's parents, siblings and us
just us...
But last year we decided no more. We are skipping one for sure, my mom's side and maybe my wife's dad's side (since at least one aunt forgets my name every year) and a possible third. We'll still do her parents and mine for our son, but Christmas day is ours.

Re: How will you celebrate Christmas
Christmas has always been low key for us. I like to focus on the meaning of Christ coming to earth in the flesh, and spending time with the family. Usually we buy one gift for each kid, and whatever the grandparents get them. We really don't have the money for anything else, and I don't like spoiling the kids.
The last two years the family has gone into the city and handed out items to the homeless. We might do that again this year, unless we go out of town to visit family.
