Christian magazine giveaway

Greetings! I'm moving into a smaller home with absolutely no room to store my Christian metal/rock magazine collection. Its about 200 magazines issued from the classic metal era of 1985 to 1993. The big prize is my Heaven's Metal/HM collection, issues #3 through #119, with just a few missing in between. Others include White Throne, 7 Ball, True Tunes, This Prophecy, Rizzen Roxx, The Activist, The Wedge, Vortexx, Notebored, Harvest Rock Syndicate, CCM, Release, The Cutting Edge, Take A Stand and The Obligator. There are also other rare fanzines and newsletters included from that era.

I need to find a good home for these pretty quick, as the move is next week. They are all FREE to anyone for local pickup (NE Ohio), or just pay FedEx ground shipping.  Four boxes total, about 15-20 lbs. each. PM me and we can easily make arrangements.

I want these super bad!

Fantastic collection. Sorry to see you have to lose it. Somebody ought to scan them all and post them.

I'm going through November Spring cleaning lifetime purge right now. My Spring cleaning will likely extend to early next year, next Spring even maybe. When I get to my old mags, I'll snap some photos, and post up for grabs. Stay tuned.

I just got notification that the magazines were already claimed and shipped out. Bummer.

The magazines were shipped out this morning! It was first come, first serve, and I got the first reply at 4:00 am this morning.

For those of us that value the rich history of Christian metal, I am at peace this irreplaceable collection found a perfect home on the CMR forum. Most metalheads I personally know are into the music, but are ho-hum towards the magazine archives.

And when it comes to freebees, the competition's tough. You had to be up at 4:00 am to win this one.......

Glad they went to someone who could appreciate them.  The worst thing that could happen was for you to just throw them away.  There aren't many of those old mags left anymore, and it would be a shame for them to have any fate other than the good fortune they found in the winner.

Bummer.  I've been looking to fill in all the holes in my HM collection plus all the other magazines.  I would have paid $1000 for this collection.  Guess I'll just keep looking....

Whoever got these please PM me if there might be issues that are duplicates that you don't need....
