Contemporary Blues

I am searching for some blues artists.  I like stuff that is heavily influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughn with that rock edge to blues.  I've discovered Joe Bonamassa, Albert Castiglia, and Samantha Fish.  They are all great blues players.  On the Christian side, I enjoy Glenn Kaiser and all his various works, Raging Grace, The Righteous Blues Band, etc.

I am looking for artists that have that kind of style--a more contemporary blues sound.  I'm also looking for artists that are currently active recording and playing.  So, if you have any suggestions, please put them here.  Thanks!

I'm sure you've heard of Rex Carroll's blues work.

I would put Rex's project in the inactive file.  I've had that album for a number of years but there hasn't been a follow up.

I just don't want a lot of suggestions of stuff 20 and 30 years old.  There is too much out there.  I guess I am looking for the best of the best of TODAY's current blues scene.  It seems to be the best place to jump in.
