Any blues fans?

Anyone here into the blues?  I've found myself drawn to it quite a bit over the years and even more now that I am making these cigar box/wine box/license plate/moonshine box guitars.  What Christian blues artists are you into?  What about secular?

I dont listen to much blues but I have run across a few decent Christian Blue artists:

Rex Carrol Band
Big Daddy Wilson

I think that the Rex Carroll Band falls more into the classification of Christians in a blues band.  There isn't really anything there to give you the feeling that it is a Christ-centric album.  It is just clean and fun.

I've not heard of Big Daddy Wilson.

Glen Kaiser is one of my favorites. I also like the olllld school blues stuff like Sunhouse, and Muddy Waters.

I had not heard of him either, but quite a ways back a friend of mine who used to do another radio show consolidated libraries and well there was alot of non-metal stuff, most of which I wasnt interested in like rap and stuff, but I ran across this Big Daddy Wilson stuff and thought it was pretty good.

As far as I know its Christian. I havent sat and listened to it in depth, but the few songs I have listened to seemed to be.

I'm liking the new album by the Righteous Blues Band called "He Gave Us Freedom".  There's a lot of tasty riffs & leads in this.  I love the vocalist as well.

I love Glenn Kaiser's stuff with Glenn Kaiser Band.  I don't really care for most of his unplugged stuff, though.  I do, however, like the Cigar Box album he did.

THAT is probably the only cassette album I got is Stevie and the Saints.

I just dug out a Time Life Blues Master CD with Muddy Waters, and some of the older artists. Im gonna have to spin that one soon. I love old blues

I like the Blues, but I don't own any CDs of this kind of music.

I mostly enjoy it when it's on at a restaurant I'm at or something. Closest I have in my collection is Whitesnake, and that's only a bit of Blues influence. Good stuff though.
