I having a hard time finding anything from Mashiaj. I was able to find a demo they were giving away on Facebook. Is there anything else released? Metal Archives shows Vomitivo to be a single. Also, I can't find a release that includes the song "Donde". Can anyone shed some light? This band sounds really good. I'd like to know more.

Re: Best Thrash Metal bands
According to Discogs, donde is in vomitivo: https://www.discogs.com/fr/Mashiaj-Vomitivo/release/8297974
Still according to Discogs, Vomitivo was release by no so reliable Martyrdom Records but also Eirene Records, who apparently are not selling it.Maybe contacting band or doing advertissement...
Seen here but i don't know if this shop is reliable: http://metalsurvivor.net/purchase_mashiaj_vomitivo.php

I did have a physical copy of Vomitivo and it has 7 tracks. Here is the official music video of Donde:

Re: Best Thrash Metal bands
Man I wish Mekong Delta was a Christian band! I had every album they put out through Wanderer On The Edge of Time (one of the last regular metal albums I bought). I had their live DVD, a t-shirt. I hunted it all down over years. Very philosophical, some extremely interesting sci-fi stories and some incredible albums but lyrically I never got anything Christian about them. The last album played out very negatively lyrically. Mutant Messiah has a lot allusion Christ and faith related wording but it's very negative.Pastèque wrote:After Death Metal, Thrash Metal thread

"We know you're a liar
you sealed our doom
Mutant Messiah!"
Sorry for this being my first post. I've always loved the band and was excited to see them mentioned. I actually think that beyond their last two which have some negative overtones, everything else they've done through the years prior had been pretty safe.
Re: Best Thrash Metal bands
Hi Frozen Fire,
I don't know, i'm maybe confusing with another band... I remembered their firsts works as Christian but i have not listened it since some month.

Re: Best Thrash Metal bands
Pastéque: That's fine. Ralph has a real interesting bend to all his lyrics. Definitely one of the most unique bands in metal history. Probably why no one knows or cares about them.
As for me, thrash is the one style that almost completely died for me in leaving my non-Christian collection behind. I went from hundreds and hundreds of albums that I absolutely adored to basically nothing. I've never heard a Christian thrash band that I thought measured up to any of my top 40 or so secular albums aside from the first three Believer albums which I already had back then and enjoyed. Christian thrash is lightyears behind the hundreds and hundreds of killer secular albums out there. I loved a ton of second and third tier thrash bands, most of whom were better than the best Christian bands for my taste. Even my favorites like Believer (Aside from the orchestral element) and Detritus had second and third tier counterparts like Sacrifice (for Believer) and Xentrix/Defiance (for Detritus) that were similar in quality and style.
Given that, what I do enjoy:
Believer (Sanity Obscure is a top album across all genres)
Some Tourniquet albums (Pathogenic is by far their pinnacle for me)
Sacrament
Detritus
The Crucified (crossover)
xLooking Forwardx (crossover)
Deliverance (the first three and Learn - the last two are ok)
Julgamento (if only this band sang in English - prefer them to all the other recent South American thrash bands - Supresion, Arnion, Disaffection, etc)
Vengeance Rising (only Human Sacrifice)
I feel like I'd enjoy FreaKings and Grave Forsaken but their albums tend to be expensive and I haven't gotten to them still. That last Mad Dragzter is pretty cool.
Wish some of the South American bands sang in English since lyrics are important to me. Mashiaj sounds excellent, Divus Kurius is pretty solid, Julgamento and Supresion are good. Little available in English at this point.
So many one off bands where they have one album and then seemingly disappeared (Advocate, Disaffection, Heaven's Force, The Moshketeers, Thresher, Valor, etc.) had solid contributions.
I feel bad for not liking most of the staple bands people like around here. I tried to get into Vengeance Rising, Seventh Angel, Ultimatum, Betrayal back when I was 95% secular and didn't really like any of them all that well. Talent levels were there but never could find myself loving what they did. Like I listed above, only the first Vengeance Rising album does much for me out of all those bands and albums.

I have. I only own Overlord. I really enjoy the instrumental portion of the album but the vocals are buried in the mix. Makes it almost like a thrash instrumental album. The lead work is great on the slower tunes but the blazing thrash songs are the best. You were on my list up top so I thought it was weird you asked. While I was editing and rearranging bands in my post I must have cut and not pasted at some point.
Been looking forward to new material from you guys!
Never heard of Immortal (used to love the secular black metal band back in the day though). I have the new Wickeds End and have seen many rave about their old material. Not a fan of the new. Too simplistic.

I also don't like that new Wickeds End stuff but their old demo was killer. I like that thrash Immortal demo a lot more than the quasi-Black Metal band's stuff.
Thanks for checking out our stuff! I hate that it has taken so long to release a follow-up but hopefully we will be able to start recording again soon. Eager to get this released and finish these new songs I've been working on. Lord willing, we shouldn't have to wait 8 years for album #4! We have a new line-up firmly in place now.
