What is it? They just don't give any info at all when you have to sign in to get started.
Re: Project Fi
Ok, I looked it up. It is just another cell phone carrier. While the pricing looks good if you have a contract phone, it still would cost me more per month to get what I currently have. They charge $10 per GB of data per month. I have 10 GB before getting throttled with Straight Talk and pay just a little over $60 a month. That would cost me $100 plus the $20 for the basics (text and unlimited talk). That is double what I pay now and I could easily get that price from a contract. What is the benefit, then?
Re: Project Fi
I use less than a gig of data per month because I'm home 7 days a week, so my monthly cell phone bill will be less than $30. I already pay more than that with MetroPCS.

Interesting. I use Virgin Mobile and pay $40/mo. Between work and home, I mainly use WiFi. The only thing I am not digging, is their phones don't have MicroSD. I know they want you to use Google Music, But I'm not a big fan of that.

Yeah, I just discovered that this morning while setting up my new phone. No microSD slot. I just assumed they would have it. Oh well, fortunately, I listen to CD cassette and record most the time.

Do you use Google Music? I tired it out a while back and wasn't a big fan of it. I need to recheck it and see if it is better.

Great question. If/When we move, it will be light. Just suitcases or have friends ship a few things afterwards (not too much though cause shipping is high). For my movie collection, which is about 250-300, I'll just put them all in one big DVD binder and leave the cases behind. I might do the same for the CDs. Although, I do have all of them burned to a hard drive, might have to leave them behind. Not sure yet.

Are you referring to Google Play Music, the subscription service? Or are you referring to uploading digital files to Google and playing them through the app? I don't have the subscription, I do have the app, but rarely need it because I'm generally near my CDs and stuff.

The app, not the subscription. I have it as well, but barely use it.

Sounds good. Definitely stay with what works for you.
So, I just got my first bill, thought I'd share it with you all. Keep in mind, I won't use that full gig of data so I'll have a credit on next month's bill.
