HOPE FOR THE DYING - LEGACY

Just remembering you guys to check their new album out. It's a killer!

Is it still progressive death metal? I may have to pick this up.

Oh yes DF.  On a couple of casual listens, it's pretty stunning.  Definetly the same band as Aletheia, but I think I like it easily better (in fairness, I liked Dissumulation much better than Aletheia).

Yes, I think it's still progressive melodic death metal. With a hint of warrior metal, because of the sword.

I think it has the heaviness but also the melodies.

After a more careful listen: yeah, I think this is really, really good.  Early album of the year favorite.

I just listened on Spotify, and this album is incredible! Now I'll have to go back and listen to their older stuff. It seems I've really been missing out by not being aware of these guys over the past few years.

Oh goodness Wildcat.  Yes, you've been missing out, this is one of the truly great bands around, IMO.
