Mad At The World - Hope

In my younger days I didn't like them at all. Just wasn't my style. But as I grew older I learned to appreciate their new wave sound. I'm enjoying the heck out of this new song.
I don't care for the whole album but may download 3 or 4 of the upbeat songs like the one above.

I liked some secular stuff like this back in the 80s. I never really liked any of the Christian bands doing this style, and so I don't listen to the first couple of Mad At The World albums. When they finally get around to making a real rock MATW album, I'll be all over it. Until then,

Definitely talented guys, just not my thing. Loved there more straight ahead alt-rock style albums. Really hope they get to do another one of those.

I see what you did, bigtreads. I checked out Nyves on Bandcamp. I wouldn't buy that either. I don't care for this style. Put the guitars back to the forefront and you can even kill the keyboards. Then, it might be awesome instead of just...meh.

they definitely target the Depeshe Mode sound - which I like a bunch of and tends to have a general appeal to most people - just wondered.

I actually loved their new wave synth based first 2 albums but this was very average...
Also loved their heavier stuff so may check that out, but i was hoping for their synth based album to
be more similar to their 87/88 period not this unmemorable material.
