I just finished St. Athanasius of Alexandria’s “On the Incarnation,” and I am about to start Pavel Florensky’s “Imaginaries in Geometry.”

Last week I listened to the author, Greg Boyle, read his book "Tattoos on the Heart". Really good look at gang ministry in inner city Los Angeles by a catholic priest. I would have liked him to comment more on the ministry of the gospel (if there was any).

Michael S. Heiser - Unseen Realm. I guess I am late to the party as this dates from 2015 but I am fascinated by the angle the late Michael Heiser takes on the council of the Gods.
 
Anyone read it, what are your thoughts?

Also, have any metal bands been influenced by this? A metal songwriter should have a field day with this martial imagery of divine beings and dead warrior kings and such…

I have it on my shelf but I haven’t made my way through it yet.

Listening to 1984. Been on my list for a LONG time.

I haven't read it, but a lot of the same stuff gets talked about on the Lord of Spirits podcast. In fact, I seem to remember an episode whether they respectfully "um, actually" Dr. Heiser.

I just finished Mikhail Lermontov's A Hero of Our Time. 
Once I make some more progress on The Canterbury Tales, I will probably start Vigen Guroian's Tending the Heart of Virtue.
