Currently listening to The Green Mile by Stephen King through Audible. It's probably the fifth time I've heard it. It's excellent.

Team Yankee by Harold Coyle. I first read it back in the late 80s and am now re-reading it. Excellent novel, from a former tank commander, about world war 3 in the European theater.

I'll be curious what you learn!  I wasn't familiar with the events until Kauan made an album about it.  (The album is an absolute masterpiece, by the way.)  Kauan's main guy did perhaps the most exhaustive investigation into it that anyone's done.  Very bizarre event...

I've been fascinated by it (and most historical mysteries) for years. And I remain a little skeptical of the "official" explanation given a couple of years ago by Russia. I'll check out that Kauan album!

The Gulag Archipelago by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. It was too hard to find it in Dutch for a reasonable price so I went with the new English version.

Good on you for tackling this one. I want to read it but find it too daunting. A friend read the abridged version earlier this year but said it cut out too much of the philosophical parts.
