The most "greatest hits" compilations Empty The most "greatest hits" compilations

As far as I'm aware Petra wins the award with the biggest number of "greatest hits" compilations. It seemed like almost every year the record labels the group was signed with were good to churn out another CD packaging (and re-packaging) the band's best songs. According to Wikipedia the count of compilation albums is 16 (Or 15. I'm not sure if "Best of the 80's" is a full Petra compilation or a multi-artist compilation).

Do any other groups come close? Who is in the running for #2?

Without counting, Larry Norman probably wins.

Petra (and White Heart) were victims of Star Song Records capitalizing on their names and releasing a themed "greatest hits" for each new studio album the band put out, in Petra's case on another label.  John Schlitt himself endorsed the War and Remembrance boxed set and Petraphonics ballads comp but said not to buy any of the others.

On a side note, i was discussing this on another forum, and we determined that the artist who has the most greatest hits albums in any genre would be Elvis, while in the hard rock/metal genre it's Kiss.
