Modern alt and indie rock

Anyone here into any of the modern alt or indie rock? Velvet Blue Music, Flannelgraph Records, Asthmatic Kitty Records, Joyful Noise Recordings are some labels that come to mind.

Used to be into the velvet blue stuff...pony express,fine china, Jupiter james... Lassie Foundation started there too didn't they?

Yep, all those artists have their early roots in VBM. I really enjoyed Jupiter James.

A great fan of indie rock, alternative, shoegaze, etc. i'd like to add Northern Records, Sally Forth Records and its imprint Volkoren who sell their stuff through Youmakemusic.com

Northern records just put out the Strance Kings album....really good stuff.
