Looking for a church....

I've started looking for a church, because I'm looking for a place where I can be myself without fear and ask the questions that are in my heart.

Please pray that I find acceptance and love, not judgement, fear, and legalism.

Praying. It's tough sometimes to find a good church. My wife and I are really blessed.

On a completely different note - the whole time I've been posting on the forum, I've thought you were a dude. I could be wrong, but pretty sure "Bridget" isn't a name that guys get too often... that's what I get for just assuming...

No, "Bridget" is not a guy's name, at least not where I live.

make sure you follow the Spirit's leading because it would be a shame to pick a church on such shallow basis as many do... God has always directed me to the churches I've a part of and I've always been blessed by the services. Remember, if Christ is there, the small things don't matter. Just trust Him.

I went to the church in my home town on Sunday and enjoyed the service.

I'm still looking for a church around my college.

how many churches are there around your college?

I'm not sure what the exact number is, but I know there's one within walking distance. I haven't been there yet, but I plan on going sometime soon.

the most important thing you can do is to pray about it.. just pray that God would lead you to the church He wants you to attend and to confirm it to you.
