What's your thoughts on Balance Of Power''s Ten More Tales Of Grand Illusion?

I'm not sure if they are Christian or not but I'm pretty sure Lance King is a Christian. I've just recently discovered them. It's really cool proggy type metal. I think my fave track is the title song!

You also have to pick up Book of Secrets and Perfect Balance. All three are fantastic. I keep going back to those 3 albums time and time again. Often I will listed to all three in a row. They are some of my fave progressive metal.

Band is not Christian per se, but Lance is, and the lyrics are all Christian friendly. Book of Secrets also has quite a bit of Christian themed lyrics.

I ordered Perfect Balance from Nightmare and it took a while to get it shipped. To make up for the delay, Lance signed the CD and the inside of the CD booklet. He seems to be a great guy.

It's been too long since I've spinned it to give a decent review.  Lance's vocals are always top notch, though.

I quite enjoy Heathen Machine, which was released after Lance.  When compared with their debut, you can see how this band got heavier further into their career. 

I still haven't tracked down Book of Secrets...

Great stuff!! As mentioned above, Balance of Power is not a "Christian" band, but they are really, really good. Wish they were still together....

Me too.....very consistent and heavier...

I like the Lance era but the albums weren't as consistent imo......best songs with him include 'Savage Tears, Prisoner of Pride, and Shelter me'...

I actually think Lance's best ever albums were his 2 Pyramaze albums ....sizzling!

Ten More Tales is a very good album. I like pretty much everything I've heard with Lance on it, whether it's BP, Pyramaze,  or even his solo stuff. The song he did with Signum Regis last year was good as well.

TMT is far and away my favorite album by BoP! Love this album!

I have it and love it as well as the other two. You can't go wrong with anything that Lance is the vocalist on.

I think the 2nd Avian album is his best, but you can't go wrong with anything Lance touches.

I`ve always think, that Pete Southern is a christian, as Lance too. But I might be also totally wrong about this. Hope not!
But the band itself is great and TMT-album too. My favourite BOP-release is Perfect Balance. Too bad that Lance was drop out of the band, becouse it was never the same anymore. Something died after Lance left. Nothing lasts forever.

This album gets better every time I listen to it...can't really go wrong with getting it.

Great stuff. Love the songwriter. Next album has a little beefier and cleaner production though. Spins a few times a year!

I love it.  I think Perfect Balance is a bit more solid, but there are no bad BoP albums and I listen to them all...

Regarding BoP, all I have heard so far is Book of Secrets. This album is great and I wanted Perfect Balance and Ten More Tales for so long, however those albums have never been in my priority. As there is a long time since I heard Lance King's great voice, I might get one of these albuns in 2015.

Besides BoP, I have got the second Pyramaze album which is really good as Lance's voice shines through the album.
