Hi there - I realize this massive undertaking is still waiting for distribution approval, but I'm looking for a scan of the cover of Heaven's Metal Issue #1 for a project I'm working on, and just that one image. Would this be something you'd be willing to share, as a PDF or TIFF? Please let me know, thanks!

In listening to Mark Salomon's recent podcast with Doug Van Pelt, they talked about HM being sold to David Stagg.  So I'm assuming he'd have the rights to publish all the back issues, NOT Doug.  I feel like everything was sent to Doug, not David, so could be why there's a hold-up on this?  Just thinking aloud and keeping this ball rolling.

Well considering guilty/forgiven hasn't been here since January (according to the stats section) we are not going to get any new updates.  Anyone know how to reach out to him to get an update of the status of this project?

I was looking forward to this as well.  Would love to see it happen still.

Guilty/Forgiven has handed the digital files over to Doug (several months ago....maybe closer to a year ago).  As far as I know Doug (or whoever is going to do this) has not been giving G/F updates on what they are planning to do with it.

Quite frankly I would hold my breath, the project may never see the light of day.

Sorry I've been MIA as of late.  

Here's the latest: As Staybrite said, the completed files went to DVP quite a while ago. He threw his line out into the waters and waited for a bite for some time. One of the prospective publishers is Bill over at ROXX.  I met Bill at the Annual San Diego Heavy Metal Swap Meet, and though we didn't talk about the project, Doug has recently contacted Bill and then me with the news that Bill is interested in publishing this digital masterpiece.  Bill and I are in contact and I'll be mailing the whole completed project to ROXX productions for him to look over and make some decisions. 

So, yes, this is still moving along... albeit slower than expected.  But as long as it's moving forward, that's all that matters. I'll keep ya'all posted.

All originals went out to my ROXX buddy Bill.  Should hear something soon. He's very interested in working on this.

They could do a Kickstarter for it!

Since it doesn't really cost anything to distribute a pdf or ebook, a Kickstarter doesn't make sense.  But if they were planning to print a physical book...that would be awesome.

Could it be done through something like www.createspace.com (an amazon company) where individuals can buy physical copies of books?
