Young people in the US are so lost these days. Ask Richard Fletcher.

Re: Random thoughts...
Pulled an all nighter last night, one of our clients got Cryptolocker on their network and DFS infected all of their servers. So spent all night working on it, then had to stop so I could go back into the office and continue working on it. so by the time I finish this workday I will have been working give or take for 48 hours. Fun.

Obviously you're not in California... We need rain so desperately. We're scheduled for some tomorrow, but it's not going to be anywhere near enough. Can you just mail us some of yours?

Its not. Its actually ransomware and basically what it does is, once it infects a system it encrypts the entire filesystem so you cannot actually access anything, and they provide a ransom screen instructing you to pay them X amount of money and they will provide the encryption key to decrypt the data.
Its simply enough to restore the data if you are diligent with backups, which we are. Problem is when you have a cluster of servers that replicate data back and forth to mirror each other it keeps coming back. I think we have it licked this time though. Will have to wait and see..
Re: Random thoughts...
My brother has been going to a Mormon temple. I asked him if he knew where their writings come from and he said a gold tablet. I asked him where it was and he said it was buried and lost. I asked "so, no one else has seen it?"
"Yeah, because it was buried and lost."
"So, no one else has seen it? "
"Yeah, because it's buried and lost."
"It's a completely unverifiable religion."
He wasn't phased by that.
Then I said I researched it some. He said I had no right to criticize because I had never been.
This is sad.
I might try to go with him sometime just to talk to someone with him to outline the absolute absurdity of it all since they aren't Christian, despite the fact they latch onto Christianity; they deny the divinity of Jesus and according to them people like Paul were beyond redemption and Jesus was a liar.
I don't know. I've been praying. I can't believe he's been going to this cult.

In most USA cities or towns, a dead end is just a street with an abrupt end. A cul-de-sac is a street with a rounded end to give access to multiple driveways or businesses. One serves a purpose (the cul-de-sac) and the other just abruptly ends.

Use the Word. They have no answer for it. Answer all the "yeah, but's" with "the Word says...". I had some show up at my house a few years ago. Instead of being rude, I talked to them. Eventually, they got tired of trying to get me off the Bible and left. I haven't had one knock on my door since.
