Ratatat, Ratón, Karl, Stephen, Stefano, Pauline, Paulina, Raul, Maria, Harold, Kyle, Zack, Timothy, Quincy, John, Oregano (seems like a good rat name), Julian, Louis, Jane, Elizabeth, Christopher.

That humiliating moment when you try to play through Every Breath You Take but your left (fretboard) hand gives up. Such a stretch for that low F#m arp!

Thanks for the suggestions, Xenon Lion and Mortal! I didn't even know that there was a rat in Charlotte's Web. All I remember is the pig and the spider.

I like Oregano.

I always wanted to get a cat and name him Basil.  I'm not sure why, but I thought it sounds like a good name!  I never thought spices were such popular animal names!

Ok now that's strange...

So my friend and I had a public disagreement in the grocery store.

He insisted on calling a certain spice, Cardamon.
I told him he was wrong and that it is Cardamom.

LemonMouse, you can also name your rat after one of those rats from Secret of Nimh.

I once had a dog named Aristobulous (Romans 16:10) It's pronounced AIR-iss-TOB-you-lus.

We called him Ari for short.

I have named a ladybug Juniper Lamar.

Does anyone know of another four-syllable herb/spice?

I have this thing about naming animals. All names have to be the same number of syllables long; I just can't tolerate anything else. And I like naming animals/things according to themes. So, if I'm going to use O-re-ga-no..... The most I can find is Cin-na-mon, Rose-mar-y, Ter-ra-gon, and Va-nil-la.  

Or there's Christmas time names. Noelle and...Holly? Angel?
