My Silent Wake

Who is getting the new MSW release, it's gonna be awesome!!

Pre-ordered it like the day it was available to do so!  Can't wait!  I also did the kickstarter for the acoustic album and I'm mighty stoked about that one too.  My Silent Wake is just phenomenal and one of the most consistently great bands I'm aware of.

I'll be picking it up even though I got the songs to review it.

               Silver  Under Moonlight is incredible, anyone else have this yet?

Unfortunately I did not buy the cd because it is too expensive for me, I would really like to buy and help with the work of the band.
But those who buy the cd will be very pleased.

 Yup; listening to it now!  MSW is yet to disappoint.

I recently picked up MSW's "best of" album entitled An Unbroken Threnody and have been cranking it loudly in my car.    For anyone who's considering getting into this band or likes doom/death at all... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!  MSW is probably my most listened-to band and is yet to put out any sub-par music.  It covers their 10 years of existence in which they impeccably shift from stellar doom/death to gothic to acoustic to ambient and everywhere in between.  If you purchase it, not only do you get the 13 tracks on the CD (including one new song), you'll also get digital files for a ton more songs.  The whole thing is nearly four hours worth of music!  It's available on CD or solely digital directly through the band (UK) or through Stone Groove Records (US) and very reasonably priced.  Definitely worth getting!

You know funnily enough I love seventh angel and Ian's other projects but I still have not really got around to listening to MSW. Probably about time and I have no doubt I will not be disappointed.
