Now for a high profile person that I met way back in Nov 1986.

Oscar-winning film star Ernest Borgnine dies at 95.

When I think of him I always remember the 80's TV series Airwolf.

A friend of mine (customer at our pharmacy) who happens to have been in several movies, just died. He was an odd character in real life. But a pretty good guy over all.

I recognized this guy as soon as I saw him, being the child of 80's tv crime/action shows that I am Very Happy

I also well remember Invasion USA and Bad Dreams. Good movies. For some reason I always tended to get him confused with Rutger Hauer though...

Richard was a good guy. Mentioned in the obit, and also a character actor is another guy I know through pharmacy, Don Calfa. If you know 80s TV you'll recognize him in Barny Miller. He was also in "Weekend at Bernies".
Don's a crack up and a very sincere person.

I was never a big Barny Miller guy...most of my 80's tv watching was hour long cop and PI shows. By the way, I meant to mention in my earlier post, I'm sincerely sorry for your loss.

I'm sincerely sorry for your loss.

Thanks, but we weren't close or anything. I just knew him through pharmacy - filled his drugs. He didn't like to deal with anyone else but me (I'm special Laughing

). He actually treated everyone else like crap. Unlike Don Calfa who's always sweet to everyone. (Don was also in Dr Dolittle part 2 with Eddie murphy)
I only knew Richard through business, but still considered him a friend cuz he liked me and trusted me with his prescriptions, we'd talk quite a bit at the pharmacy.

One can only hope that he percieved the truth before he died... Sadly, I sincerely doubt it.
