Theocracy vs. narnia

This is hard... I'm going to go Theocracy. If we are comparing the first albums of each band I would say Narnia.

Theocracy.  No question.

This is like asking who would win in a fight between a house cat and a tiger. Narnia isn’t even Christian Liljegren’s best band

Even Theocracy’s worst—AtWB, obviously—I’ll take over most Narnia I’ve heard.

I'd actually take Narnia's Ghost Town over ATWB or GS.  Overall Theocracy still wins for me though.

I think Ghost Town is more consistent than AtWB, so fair point. 

You need to repent of your Ghost Ship heresy, though.

Haha I don't know what it is about Ghost Ship but it just doesn't do anything for me.  It's not bad... but rather just sorta bland and unmemorable compared to their other stuff IMO.

What even are hooks?  If doooooom metal doesn't need 'em, neither do I!  

Not a flower power fan, so Narnia in a landslide.  Grimmark is one of the best guitarists going today.

Narnia is peak flower metal but I agree that Grimmark is great.

Loved his work with Preterist especially.

About half the songs on Ghost Ship are great, but the other half seems kind of filler to me

I think Drown is awesome. I think Easter is the most bland from those two albums, it's still awesome though.

Bro Easter is one of the two best songs on the album, along with Wonder of it All. Drown is the weakest on AtWB but still better than Call to Arms, Castaway, and Currency in a Bankrupt World

Castaway is one of my favs on GS. The two best songs on GS are GS and ATWAB. The weakest on ATWB is probably 30POS

Narnia is way more “flowery” than a lot of Theocracy songs though. Try to tell me Laying the Demon to Rest is flower metal lol

You may be the first person I’ve seen who doesn’t acknowledge the fact that The Wonder of it All is the best song on Ghost Ship
