^ If you like Accept, you will accept that I like this...a lot
This marks the 6th album with the same vocalist - Mark Tornillo
He is a perfect fit
The music is great as always
I could do without the occasional profanity

Metallica - Metallica
It might have set them in a bad direction, but it's a great album on it's own.

They aren't, but it's still a bad direction because it's way below average for the bandChristian Thrash Rules wrote:L and RL aren't bad. (there is specific bad songs though, especially Slither)
Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now [Secular]?
I don't know about way below average. It's just not the thrash and heavy metal they'd been doing. If Soundgarden had released a thrash album after Superunknown us here would love it, SG fans would probably hate it. So it's just because they started as thrash and went to that.StevenCressler wrote:They aren't, but it's still a bad direction because it's way below average for the bandChristian Thrash Rules wrote:L and RL aren't bad. Fortnite is adding a song about racist killing with tons of f-bombs? BruhChristian Thrash Rules wrote:Rage Against The Machine - Killing In The Name

Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now [Secular]?
There is an edited version they play on the radio that leaves off the ending part with the f bombs. Doesn’t change the race-baiting message of the song though, not appropriate for a kids game imo

If Soundgarden had gone from boring grunge to thrash is different than Metallica going from a great thrash band to mediocre whatever the Loads are.Christian Thrash Rules wrote:I don't know about way below average. RATM is awesome! Musically at least lol. Tom Morello is an amazing guitarist.

Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now [Secular]?
Name one other person that plays like that, that's not a Tom copy. And he writes great riffs. Sleep Now In The Fire, Testify, Freedom, Killing In The Name. I very rarely listen to RATM though. 95% of their lyrics are garbage. "F*** the government", that's most of their songs lol.

Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now [Secular]?
No one plays like that because it's simple staccato riffs.
